The official daily reference exchange rate between two major fiat currencies out of roughly 30 supported ISO codes, with the rate's effective date. Published once per business day, so it's built for invoice pricing, financial reporting, and normalization tasks rather than live trading, where a stale-by-seconds rate would be a problem. Cached 1 hour.
