check_broker_authority
Use this to check a freight broker before you accept a load or extend credit: whether it holds active broker authority, its broker dockets and how current each status is, its bond (BMC-84/85) continuity and lapses, its authority history (grants, revocations, suspensions, reinstatements) and the identity linkage screen. Give an MC number or a USDOT number. A record, not a recommendation. Billed whenever the broker resolves, including when it holds no broker authority.
