Hospital capital-expenditure jump signals from CMS cost reports (Worksheet A-7): hospitals whose major movable equipment purchases hit at least $1M and at least 2x the prior fiscal year — an observational marker that a hospital reported a step-up in equipment spend. Answers: which hospitals just bought equipment? Includes purchase dollars by asset class and the prior-year comparison. Filter by state, min_amount (movable-equipment dollars), since; keyset cursor pagination.
