What a transaction on Arc ACTUALLY costs, measured from real receipts rather than quoted from the docs. The companion to /api/x402/arc-cost, which prices a named operation at the current gas price: that one is the quote, this one is the measurement and the tail. The most repeated claim about Arc is that USDC-as-gas means predictable low fees. The low half is true; the predictable half does not survive measurement, and that is what you are buying.
